The Camp Project in Woodbury, Georgia, is one of 3 RET solar plants with 20-year contracts to sell electricity to Georgia Power, the largest subsidiary of one of the nation’s largest generators of electricity, Southern Company. The 16 MW plant is expected to generate more than 30,700 megawatt-hours of power in its first year in operation. It was financed through a sale-leaseback structure with Bank of America.
