RET Capital’s McHenry Solar PV Plant in Modesto, California, has a 25-year contract to provide power to the Modesto Irrigation District, an investment-grade utility that provides electric service and irrigation water and treats surface water for drinking. With a capacity of 25 megawatts, McHenry produces more than 66,000 MWh of clean solar energy a year. RET Capital acquired the project in 2014, closing a favorable refinancing of bank/bank hybrid senior debt with Nord/LB and Babson Capital.
