The Camilla Project in Pelham, Georgia, is one of three RET solar plants with 20-year contracts to sell electricity to Georgia Power, the largest subsidiary of one of the nation’s largest generators of electricity, Southern Company. The 16 MW plant is expected to generate more than 30,700 megawatt-hours of power in its first year in operation. It was financed through a sale-leaseback structure with Bank of America. RET bought the facility from Origis USA, which will continue to operate and manage the plant and provide asset management services.
